There are several ways to eliminate the logon prompt, but the simplest way would be to delete your linked tables, and then re-link from Access. So, you are now quite much for practical solutions limited to using SQL authentication. ![]() ![]() (as a side note, it IS possible to use windows authentication without a domain, but you then have to create logons on the server, and the names + passwords will have to match each client pc – not recommend). ![]() Given you not on a domain, then you CAN NOT use windows authentication for the SQL server, then you are correct to choose SQL authentication.
